Well the title says it all, but just to specify it needs to be compatible with 28mm figures.

I got a nice vickers light tank from BEF. but now BEF is owned by warlord, and they are not currently selling the tanks. I am sure they will, soon enough, as they have just added BEF's infantry to their BAM range, so I guess it depends how urgent it is.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

'Good' is relative when you talk about British tanks. Copplestone do the Independent and the Medium Marks II and III. Force of Arms do a Vickers 6-Ton, which the T-26 was based on. You could go for an armoured car as an alternative, there's a few Rolls Royce of various types from different places, Copplestone do a Lanchester MKII and Company B do a Crossley.

Quality of the various kits is something I don't know however.

BEF are good models and paint up well, copplestone look lovely but I've yet to see a vehicle without some kind of mis-cast, chip or other kind of problem.  Possibly unfair but that's my impression so far.  That said the figures are lovely.

Company B are good and you can get them through the Wargames Command Post in the UK...

I second BEF, even if they're a little difficult to get at the moment... great models, big range, well -priced.

I also agree with Goaty-poo about Copplestone - more reputation than actuality, and having tried to contact them about a problem not a brand I'm ever likely to buy again.

I've bought eight armoured vehicles from Copplestone and not had any problems with any of them...

If you want a 'typical' vehicle go for the Mark II Medium.

Odd... maybe a change in caster or similar.

Northstar has a new section of about 14 interwar tanks and armored cars on their site. Some, if not all ,are the Copplestone vehicles I think.
