Looking for Vash the Stampede
« on: 18 June 2011, 04:08:50 AM »
Hi all,

I'm looking to find out if anyone makes a version of Vash the Stampede from the old Trigun anime series:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigun

The Heresy trenchcoat gangers are the closest I've found so far, but they really don't have the right feel.  Any ideas?

I'm sorry my link posting skills are lacking, but as a starting point for Vash I would try Malifaux Death Marshals (need a head swap) or East Riding Miniatures Slicks (have to green stuff some hair). I think either of these two is a good starting point>
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Wyrd Miniatures "Hans - Mercenary Sniper" is a very close match for Vash the Stampede- You would just need to switch the rifle for a pistol:

Ahhhh Trigun...excellent series.  8)  I think one of the CSO Marshalls from Aberrant Games' Rezolution line would work with some putty to change the hair and maybe add the glasses...I believe he originally was only available with the CSO starter set, but now can be bought separately.

pretty close fit in my opinion

The Heroclix Per Degaton figure might make a good basis for a conversion:

You'd need to add glasses and convert the hair, of course. As I recall, the figure is on the big side, too.

What of the Cygnar Stormsmith's? Or even the Cygnar Stormtower Stormsmith's?  :-)

Sticking with the Warmachine ideas i always thought a Cryx Cephalix would be a good start for a conversion.

Not sure if that's how you post links here but i hope it helps.
