Anyone know...?
« on: October 09, 2011, 03:59:43 PM »
As I continue to grow my 28mm collection of Wild West figures (most painted by the incomparable Bugsda), there's some I need to find. Anyone know if someone makes proxies for Jim West and Art Gordon from the Wild Wild West? And how about a Chuck Conners Rifleman?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't seen an equivalent yet. There are a couple of close figures for the different seasons of the show. James became more cowboy-esk as the seasons went on. You might be able to get away with the Reaper Huckster with some modifications for the early season more James Bond style West. The face looks more like Heath ledger than Connors but the clothing is right. Gordon is another story. I saw this question posted once before on the TMP and the best response I saw was with Artie's master of disguise abilities any figure could be Gordon. I also would like both figures properly sculpted but have not been successful in the search.

Cheers Don  :)

As I remember it Chuck almost always had a shirt and pair of jeans on, maybe a denim jacket if the weather was bad, I loved this programme  8)

I'm looking.

I want a figure of Chuck Conners with half a cavalry saber, "Branded" was my all time favourite cowboy show of the 60s, you can keep Gunsmoke, Bonanza and Rawhide.  lol

Thanks Chris. If you find one add him to the Xmas pile  lol

I believe director Sam Pecinpah cut his teeth on that show.
