SoTR Polish vs Soviet Gain Ground AAR

Got around to play SoTR during the week, had not played since the Swedish tournament a couple of months ago, which is just crazy. Decided to run my Polish platoon, mainly to give my Gracie class mecha (from the Incursion range) a taste of battle. The opposition was made up of the invincible Drop Trooper platoon - though played as Soviets with some tweaks.

Played the best I could but it is nigh impossible to win against that particular army with a regular platoon I think. I have yet to score a single victory against them - regardless of what nation I have played.

Looks like a fun game, always great to see your figures in action.

I've managed to beat a similar Drop Armour Platoon with my British Para Commandos, the trick is to pour on fire and stay in cover until the last two turns. Then run for the objectives.
