Snow Boarder Figures?

I have been looking for modern miniatures in moutain, polar, arctic and ski gear and only found the Fenris ones.

All the existing miniatures are WW2 or Pulp ones (Copplestone or Pulp Figures).

But :

You'd be better off making your own snowboards rather than using surfboards as proxies. Sorry but the shapes are completely different and would not look right.

Just get some plasticard, cut about a 1.5cm by 2.8cm strip, heat the ends to bend up the nose and tail of the board, (dip them in cold water to set the angle) then use a sanding block and work the curved nose and tail. Add bindings and a backfoot leash to taste, maybe a stomp pad between the bindings.

Definately a market for this genre....

I saw the skateboarders in the flesh and thought they look pretty dang good.  I ended up buying them as a gift for a family member.  Comparable to 28-33mm, but it may be a bit soft for game play.

Ok, they aren't smoking anywhere near enough weed to be snowboarders, but they are an urban blight around here.


The wheels can be removed with clippers and a file.

That'll just give you snowdecks, (fun but no snowboard) also clothing's all wrong.

Use plastic cadian boots, the size difference will work in your favour as snowboarding boots are meant to look bulky, (oh and snowboarding boots are not hard boots, that's for the two plank w*nkers! (Can you tell which camp I frequent?!??!? ).

No downhill carving boards have the hard ski type boots not a nice pair of soft Burtons
