Using the Magic Card Maker for GASLIGHT games
« on: 20 January 2012, 10:46:01 PM »
If I can get the last few things painted I'll be running a GASLIGHT game at Winter War in Champaign, IL. In my blog I show examples of my using the Magic Card Maker to create cards for use in GASLIGHT.

Good luck on getting ready in time! The cards are a cool idea.

lol, why the confederates are black? XD

Anyway, i used NANDECK. It is a bit more complicated, but you can make quite fast a whole deck of cards

It is a holdover from when I used playing cards. To try to keep things as simple as possible for the players the Union side used all red cards and the Confederates used the black cards. This helped a little in keep straight which unit was which, but you are right I should change them to Gray.

Grey wasn't a choice but the color for Artifact turned out to be a nice light grey

Looks like an interesting concept. I've just downloaded nandeck for a few of my own projects.
I'll to try it and see how it turns out.

Cheers
