I've had a go at the US Rocket Marines and I loved painting them.

It looked much better in the flesh but here it is...

I'm looking forward to painting the rest.I've done another and have 3 more to go....

Cheers

Nice colourscheme. Different from what you usually see on these guys.

I would recommend trying to use a more neutral background for your pictures though. It's a bit busy and turns away the attention from the figure. :)

I think it upsets the color balance of the image too.
Nice work onthe rocket guy though.  :)

Thanks guys

I agree on the back ground but that shoe box was the closest thing to hand at the time.

More neutral would be good. Photo's not my strong point really.

Thank you Vanvlak he looks much better.

I'm only just discovering the delights of photography.

I did use a flash and then reduce the brightness in the photoshop program. you've done a better job than me.

Next time I'm not going to use the flash , a better background and then try to balance out the colour that way.

I've got 3 more to paint before then though.

Hi Dodge,
sorry for the time lag - was abroad for a few days - if you have photoshop, there should be an auto-equalize entry in a menu on image editing, somewhere, that's all I used (in Corel photoshop, in my case).

I'll look for that in my software.

I've got Olympus Camedia which has some tools.

I've nearly finished the whole squad of 5 and then I'll photgraph them.
