Youre right mate.

I knew those two cowboys from foundry and they are Marx Bros. The copplestone figure is new to me. Definately a Marx Bros.

Ha! Well spotted! I've got Captain Spaulding, but I'd never seen the other two.

Still, be darned expensive to complete the set, I fear.

I need to have those. The Max Bros (and Laurel and Hardy) really is the first thing I come to think about when it comes to funny movies from the 'genuine' inter-war pulp period....

Must buy... MUST save some money for that  :D

It was I, btw, who spotted the Harpo earlier on....

There is also a snake oil salesman in the Old West collection that looks like Graucho.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I was aware of the Captain Spaulding figure in the Copplestone range, but not the Foundry figs.  I can restart my Freedonia project!

I thought folks might like to see a scale comparison of all 3 Marx Bros.-inspired figures grouped together:

The Copplestone Castings Groucho figure is a bit larger in scale than the old-school Foundry Harpo & Chico (for those who are sticklers about such things).

As noted, there is a bespectacled moustachioed Foundry civilain who would make an adequate stand-in for Groucho, although he doesn't have Groucho's trademark tailcoat and duck-walking posture...
