My Pulp Leagues reassembled onto one page
« on: 09 August 2013, 04:35:49 AM »
Hi everyone,

I haven't posted any of my new Pulp figs for quite some time because, well, there haven't been any new ones! However, I did take a couple hours to assemble all the various postings I made on my web page into one page. It details my Pulp leagues, which I will eventually point up using Pulp Alley. The storyline of my multiplayer games will follow the competition among different European and American archeologists to unearth treasures in southeast Asia. Of course, these religious treasures are rumored to have arcane powers and to be guarded by unknown perils.

Check it out if you have a moment. The figs and paint jobs of are a wide range in quality, as they represent several years of painting.

Hope you enjoy them and their story (which has yet to be told on the tabletop...!).

Great story, great leagues. I love the way you've done the backgrounds on the photos, those German sailors look like they're on the beach!

Looks really cool! I love all the backgrounds you have for your minis. I'm not familiar with a lot of those miniatures. Who makes your archaeologists?

Unfortunately, I don't know for most. About 90% of them are flea market pickups that were in unlabeled ziplock bags. Some are gangster figs, I think. Some are Wild West or whatever. My goal when I got I to the project was to fund it with an average price of $1 a fig. I was definitely successful, but at the cost of IDing where they came from.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

Well done on the $1 per fig budget. It looks like you got a bunch of really nice miniatures!
