Painting a British 6pdr anti tank gun
« on: 22 May 2012, 06:52:39 PM »
Dear All

I wonder if any of you would be kind enough to offer some advice on what colour to paint a 28mm British 6pdr anti tank gun for late war/Normandy. I've checked around 'tinternet and they seem to be painted an 'olive' type of green or darker 'bronze green' colour.  If you could recomend Vallejo colours that would be great!

Kind regards

Hello Dave,

During the Normandy events in 1944, the pounder guns were painted in the same green than the british tanks.
I would suggest using the Vallejo VP924 "Russian Uniform" to paint them.

Regards.
