Here's the first weapon for The Elder Things, a molecular disruptor. Just the thing to keep wayward shoggoths in line.

Yup. They'll have "camera-like weapons which produced tremendous electrical effects" as Lovecraft describes as well as viewing devices and other equipment to make command squads and heavy weapons.

Poor Yithians.  They just wanted to explore the universe and amass great knowledge of the sciences and future events... and they end up in desperate warfare with the "Flying Polyps", which are certainly one of the worst-sounding things in the Lovecraft-verse.
