Dead Warrior Marker
« on: 31 July 2012, 11:23:46 PM »
Just finished working on this encounter marker for a 45. Adventure game of a native skeleton with an arrow sticking out of his back.

The base model was a GW skelelon. I had to add a little loin cloth. I'm working on another model, of an adventurer or explorer but I need to put some torn clothes on him. However ... I'm not sure what to make them with ... greenstuff, rolled into a thin sheet?

Nice work
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Very pulpy!

You can't go wrong with greenstuff in thin sheets, but if it's just torn shapeless rags you could easily do it with wrapping tissue (or other thin paper) brushed with thinned PVA. That'll fit snugly so the bony shapes are clear.
