Very cool, what made you pick those colors? Typical of most Soviet heroes is the red and black similar to the flag.

Im honestly not familiar with the black and red flag!  The only flag Im aware of was the red and yellow flag of the USSR with the hammer and sickle.

Cool, the flag is red/yellow, but there is black in some of their super hero uniforms and red is a very dominate color along with yellow and black. Wikipedia Soviet Heroes and you can see some info about them. Interesting read.
