I love it!

It feels very 'blade runner-esque'. I really like the look of it. As the neon sign expensive?

Cheers
Andy

Honestly, neon lights?  It's the coolest thing I 've ever seen in my life.  At this point I've seen it all.

You could probably make some glowing signs out of color transparancies, the types teachers use in schools.  I've used them to make stain glass windows.  Looking at that Cyberpunk picture it would be really effective mixed in with the neon.

Saved for reference.
Fantastic looking table, those buildings are lovely.
Anyone have any idea what's going on at Old Crow?

thanks guys :)  the sign was about $20...which included everything, so not too bad!

in terms of the Old Crow site, I heard it was put offline due to a server upgrade and should be back soon, apparently you can still email and order. which is good, I need to order a DocWagon ambulance from them! (gonna use a hover apc )

That's very cool. Model trains, you say? I'll have to look into that. Thanks.

I was thinking something similar, though backlighting/flashing/patterns sounds like huge work/big bucks as well.

Here's hoping someone comes up with a plan. $20 is reasonable, but daunting if you want several towards gaudy/crowded, and what else do you expect in Shadowrun?  :D

Almost forgot, kewl look! Definitely encouraging those parsimonious souls looking for the cheap option...  lol

Good idea, thgough 30$/piece for 28mm is not cheap. "Las Vegas" sign could be very useful for LAFers doing Fallout themed scenery !
A word for miniatures, scenery and rules compulsive buying ? Zhobbyllness !

I lost track of this thread.  You could make a light box with a tansparancy and a light behind it attached to a building.  A color transparancy at Michaels is around a dollar 50.

Awesome stuff!  I am plowing through the Shadowrun 4E 20th Anniversary rules right now and loving them, so this adds some extra inspiration!

I wonder if you could get away cheaper (especially if making a large quantity of pieces) by using fibre optics?

where did the taxis come from?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

What are some good railroad shops in the US?  I had this idea when browsing Scenic Express about a year ago and seeing it in practice is inspiring.
