Straightening bent soft plastic miniatures?
« on: 14 October 2012, 10:28:58 PM »
So, I have a Star Wars CMG model which I am repainting for a tabletop army. The only problem is that, since the plastic is very soft, some parts of it are slightly bent. I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find it at the moment -- has anyone got any recommendations for straightening bent parts? In the old days I would have said to put the bent bit in hot water, bend it into the correct position and then cool it. Is that still the approved method?

Thanks!

Yes, it is. I did it to my Last Night on Earth miniatures and it worked.
