Someone commisioned this generic Shepherd from Brother Vinni. Would make a nice infantryman.

So, heoric 28mm only?

These 15mm infiltrators from Rebel Minis seem kind of like Alliance soldiers in the first game.

In 28mm, and in 15mm, there are some "Frogan" on Shaeways but I have no idea what the real figures look like.

Here is a printed Frogan that came up on a google image search.

Jason Moore over at Micropanzer is working on some 15mm guys that resemble Volus somewhat for his Project Slipstream line. He calls them Armored Gutungi. They are not clearly Volus (nor are they "not-volus" exactly ) but they are roly-poly short guys in power armor with helmets that obscure they actual features so they could pass for them. He seems to have removed the pictures of the greens from the thread on TMP where he announced them. They will be available in June or July. There are small pictures of them on the right of this page:

A lot of people also seem to convert various Infinity figures into Mass Effect stuff. So if someone wants to look over the Infinity line from Corvus Belli and identify passable Mass Effect stuff that might be helpful. I'm not that familar with mass Effect so that guy is not me.

Rescaling shouldn't be too hard, but you need to now the dimensions of a lifelike vehicle.

You could use this as a guideline for size :

Also, found this simple model for 20mm figures : http://johnnymuffintop.deviantart.com/art/ME-Mako-Papercraft-WIP-199190530

The Dreadball KS project has some "not-Geth" in the form or their Wyn Greth'zki character, and "not-Salarians" in the form of Judwan. They also have a decent "not-Atlas" mech too.

Mantic have the Corporation Enforcers, which would make goo Cerberus troops: Linky.

Antenociti's Workshop do some good stand-in figs in their GOT line; the T-PEA troopers.

Also some good examples of Infinity figs converted to Mass Effect 3 characters here on Collegia Titanica.

Another great Shepard conversion using Infinity figures here - Body is a Haqqislam Janissary, and the head is from a Pan-O Acontecimento Regular.
