Wow!

The Afghans were certainly ecelectic buyers in the and '30s and '40s. The old Armoured Forces museum outside Kabul in the 1980s featured a real miscellany. I've got a book on the Afghan War that featured a photo of some of the lineup. CV-35s, various bits of Soviet kit, Universal carriers, FT-17s and most amazingly of all a Diston tractor tank. I wonder what happened to that? I know the US stole the FT-17s. Maybe the Diston will turn up someday.
