Hi Chaps,
Thank you very much for the kind comments; yours and others inputs throughout the build process have been really encouraging and supported the vision of the games that were being planned.
Napoleonics is one of the classic periods for providing the full on visual aspects of our hobby with all the great uniforms on show whilst also having the potential to create the impact of a large battle through the look of the game. These are probably two of its most defining aspects and a combination that for me has been an itch waiting to be scratched.
Tony - Thank you for sticking at the job, as your sculpts have been a pleasure to work with and make capturing the visual appeal of the subject so much easier. I am a bit of an evangelist for the unique aspects 18mm as scale has to offer the Napoleonic player and I hope more new players to the period look at this great scale of figures to start playing with.
James - thank you mate, really appreciate your comments on this and other previous projects. Since the days of Oporto, and my lovely Seminary, I have you in mind to look at putting a particular bridge over the River Coa together and with Sir Arthur soon set for heading back to Portugal and a new 1810 campaign, I have a mind to start putting plans together for some new future projects.
I just have a little skirmish in Dacia to attend to and then I will be in touch.
Thanks all
JJ
