Height wise they fit fine and the legs are very similar... it is the torsos on the new miniatures that are bulked up.

Thanks again Inso.  I prefer the slightly bulkier look of the new armour.  It definitely makes the figures more cross-compatible too.

I agree. The latest version of the armour is quite compatible with other Dwarf types and also smaller scales as a landmate because of the almost cockpit-like helmet.

I love these new suits but would have also loved it if these were made:



They shout out Traveller, Imperial heavy armour and look like beefed up Torsten suits. It is a shame that they never reached fruition... but the new suits make up for it .
