They could, but they'd be wrong...  :D

That's a very nice 'upgraded' family car there. Any pics with a 28mm next to it perhaps?

Cheers!

It's 1:64 'Matchbox' scale, so I use 20mm.  I have some fig shots here.

Very very nice. Using chassis and crossbow rules in car wars you would end up with sedans festooned with guns like this.

One thing I think you will find is the smaller 28mm figs will scale up very well with these cars. A person should be taller than the roof with these old cars.

Thanks for the compliment! C&C was what I was going for!  That is my plans for that set of cars, rough and ready.  I have a bunch of Matchbox and Hot Wheels for more 'Car Wars Futuristic' stuff.  But I like both versions of the genre.

I tried a few different scales and to be honest it's not easy to find a perfect fit.  I think the main reason that the fogs look just a hair small is that the M2 cars are a hair bigger than MB or HW cars....  But I'm going to stick with 20mm just for consistency, that way I can use them all together if I like.  The driver is clear through the window, but there is a gunner also.  Both are from Stan Johanssen and are perfect for crewing.  The sculpts are pretty good, but if they're just going to sit inside...perfect.  I alternate with GW Dark Future minis.
