Nope,

don't like that concept. It might make sense if the grav pods are very energy consuming to have them for emergency use only, but even then, I get the same feeling as when I look at an Antonov A-40 : not done.

Nice work, dwartist!  Really like to see the Cafferata in grav mode -- most people model them in road mode, with the wheels down.
