I just made my first, and last purchase from Mega Miniatures.  Some figures from the monster and arabian knights line for my pulp games.  Really sad to see them go.

They always offered great miniatures for a very reasonable price. Too bad they're closing and the Metal Magic lines get split up and scattered all over the world. I was looking into getting the production back to Germany but it seems my favorite lines (chaos champions/knights, barbarians, beastmen, skeletons) are already gone to other manufacturers.  :(

"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

We (Teshub and I) just received our last order as well. Lots of animals for background scenery and another Werner Klocke woman. We've been very happy with their village personalities too. And has been mentioned, the prices were great!

They will be missed,
Jev

I am going to be ordering a pretty big batch of minis from them this weekend. All of the skeletons, all of the goblins, some warriors/knights and a little SF.

It is sad,

I just received my second order from them today which was a mixed bunch. A mix of figures and terrain bits.
The sizing seems to be all over the place but what I have is handy for my RH project.
The sculpts are much better than what the photos give an impression of.

Yeah, the paint jobs in the example pictures are very unkind.
All the figures come from different old companies and ranges, so scale is definitely inconsistent.

I'm thinking about buying another batch... :x

Just managed to place a much too large order with MegaMiniatures  :D

Mainly fantasy scenery, animals and the robot cowboys and sci-fi indians which I might use in post-apoc setting or might just immediatly shift to the lead pile :p
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?
