I'm hoping to turn this into my progress thread for the Pappis box challenge. Currently I don't have much to show, no drawings, only ideas and a steadily growing pile of materials.

I've decided to use this opportunity to try my hand at the field that is alien to me (har har). I'll be embarking into the wonderfully diverse world of science fiction for this project. So with out further ado, strap yourself in an enjoy the show while I lay out the premise of my game for you...

Okay I'm planning on creating a skirmish game, a homage to both Warhammer Quest\Hero Quest  and Silent Invaders's amazing aliens board. I'm hoping to create the game from the ground up, including the scenery and the rules. As for the miniatures; well I'll be receiving the Reaper Kickstarter deal, and up until now I had no use for both the IMEF marines and the nova team. Both will now become the main protagonists of the project.

I was mainly wanting to get some place holder text done. More to follow over the next few days...
