M20 Super Bazooka
« on: 16 May 2013, 03:40:11 PM »
Anybody make a US soldier Circa the Korean war with the M20 Super Bazooka. I can find plenty of 25 and 28mm figures with the M9 but no one with the M20.

You will struggle to find 28mm US Infantry in the correct gear for the Korean War era full stop, let alone armed with an M20. Acheson Creations were doing some a while back, but I have no idea what happened to them...

It's a DIY project at present if you want one, nobody makes one. That said a couple of the available 28mm ranges M9s look much closer in shape and size to the M20 than the original so worth looking. IIRC Crusader or Artizan's version fall into this category.

I did ask Kosta about doing one for the Portguese and the 1960s Brits. No idea if that's on his very long to do list.

Note to manufacturers. Korea was an interesting conflict and more than just WW1 trench warfare with WW2 weapons. It would be worth a decent range. Late Korean War era US Army troops would be extremely useful, for later conflicts, as various third world proxies and ideal for playing 1950s pulp Godzilla, it came from outer space type games

Agreed, the turm. The forgotten war really does apply to the Korean conflict, which is a shame. Lots of useful and interesting forces were involved becase of the UN involvement.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
