WWII Occult using INEPTT
« on: August 15, 2013, 03:28:40 AM »
Well I finally got the game in, had to rewrite some of INEPTT weapons to work in WWII but it all went far better than I thought. I now realize that INEPTT will work from about 1900 up through to Near Future combat with no problems. The games was fantastic.

Here is the background.

Combined Operations Branch had gained Intelligence Reports that pointed to a Nazi Stronghold in the Austrian Alps. Moonshine castle and the adjacent town of Moonshine were the location of a special branch of SS Occult studies and Operations. Special Ops was to send in a small team of not more than 12 men to infiltrate the castle, locate any occult libraries and or machinery/altars and destroy them along with the garrison. Number 1 Commando formed 3 assault teams, 2 with 4 men and 1 with 3.

The teams parachuted in landing adjacent to Moonshine castle itself and the town.

In true Commando style the lads went in with guns blazing and engaged the 24 man German garrison (made up of 1 squad each of Wehrmacht and Gestapo).
Wehrmacht garrison rush out of their barracks with guns blazing:

The Commandoes lost one man and took a couple of hits but their superior training and firepower quickly did away with the garrison.

The search of the castle led them to an underground passage that took them deep into the mountain that Moonshine castle was built on. The insides of the mountain were horrific and only the cool head of the Commandos ensured that all the evil lurking in that mountain were destroyed!

Golem Horror - Frankenstien like creature!

Vampire Crypt!

It was a great game - felt just like a movie along the lines of Outpost or The Eagle has landed (on Frankenstien!)
