Anybody know what this is?

The nephew turned up with this today, he painted it himself. Said he found it 'under a pile of junk' while clearing up his room. The room used to belong to his older brother, who himself had a gaming and painting phase, so it was probably his.


The slotta base is new, it came on its own small cast base. It's not altogether clear on that photo, but it has one big central eye, Cyclops-style.

We were just curious if anybody knows what it is, or who made it?

Not sure exactly (well not at all) but I think I might have one, dates back about 25 years ? So my guess would be a Ral Partha or very early Citadel (more likely RP) D&D figure.
Not sure what I bought it as or for, but mine went in with my Call of Cthulhu/unspecified aliens type mix.

Looks familiar to me, too, but I can't quite pin it down. Fastolfrus appears to have the right time frame, though.

That is one of the original Citadel figures a cyclops from their first release, I used to have that :mrgreen:  1982  :love:

Wow. I wonder where Dicky got it then? He himself was born in 1982, so he can't have bought it new.

Let me just say that miniature making has come a long way since that one was sculpted.

Still, weird collectors pay prime $$$ for lead slugs like that.
