Kitbashing heaven...I hope

I was thinking about starting up a sci-fi skirmish game...and after looking at some 1930's armored vehicles I started envisioning them as junker space shuttles and boarding craft etc...I've got the kit bash bug too. 

You can't leave us hanging like that,lol
I was going to to do necromunda but was thinking of doing it in a 40 k Logan's world style setting,
Water merchants ,miners,buses etc

Well, any of the oddly-angular armored cars look like they'd be great if you took off the wheel wells and added some boosters...they have a lot of unique angles, but plenty of flat surfaces.  Adding some lights, boosters, and small glass bubble cockpit etc. you could get some neat junker type shuttles.

Lots of cool little weird armored cars, that could be excellent starting points.  These pictures were all taken from the Mini-Art 1/35th scale...but you get the idea.  I thought a trip to the toystore to pick up some cheap airplanes would allow you to slap some wings on them etc.

Ahh.. I've got a couple of BA-64s, but just I stuck a Leman Russ gun on their turrets - not one of my better conversions 

But a Dingo with some wings...hmmm, that's food for thought
