Sculpting style or setting style?

Sculpting style Dean. These look to be by a different hand to most of their previous figures. Or maybe it's just a different look. But they don't really grab me, whereas I really like all the original chunky-style Pig Iron sci-fi figures.

I think the "old" stuff from pig iron is amazing, the new ones are good. I know a lot more trash from other companies (Hands like bulldozer shovels or really short legs, 42mm Heads on 28mm figures). So, these are not the known quality of pig iron, but they are ok.

I quite like these  :)

They look to me like they will be fun to paint up reasonably fast.  There is room for a range of near future insurgents that dont look post-apocalyptic or grimdark.

I could use these to represent bolter fod--- er, I mean, resistance fighters during the Great Crusade, or even in the 41st Millenium.
