Hey all. A quick tip of the cap to everyone from here in sunny Cardiff.

I'm a painter through and through, writing the odd bit of tat, only using the games as an excuse to collect toys I like. Nostalgia and an inability to resist new shiny things are my main drivers so I don't really concentrate on a single genre or theme.

I've got so many half-painted units and forces lurking on the shelf gathering dust it's an embarrassment, but I guess WW2 British Airborne are at the forefront, followed by a theoretical SAGA Isle of Man raider force, with a smattering of other bits and pieces.

Outside of the toys, I'm a devoted husband and father to a wee girl of 3 (I'm not married to my daughter, I'm married to a real grown-up lady) and a rugby fanatic. Very little of what I write is serious, even less is of value to anyone but myself and only the odd nugget is worth reading. Sadly it is only by reading it that you will be able to tell one from the other. Sorry about that.
