Never come across this manufacturer before but there are certainly some lovely figures I could use.  But the postage cost to UK - £18.00 minumum if I have understood correctly - wow!  Does anyone this side of the Atlantic stock these figures?  Anyone in the UK?

Old Glory UK stock them. I don't know if they'll have these in yet, but keep a look out on their website.

Link to the Blue Moon stuff is on the left, near the bottom of the list.

Edited for apparently not knowing my right from my left. No wonder my feet hurt.

I have some Blue Moon AWI civilans.  They are decent sculpts and castings. They tend to be on the tall slim side, which can make for a good contrast of body types when mixed with bulkier figures.  The round base on the bottom appears intended to function as the base without any other basing.  Of course you could slide a round ferrous base under that if you store in magnetic lined boxes.  The round base also adds a little more height.  I think the Blue Moon figures are well worth the money.  This is a prolific company.  Their musketeers and highwaymen are the figures I'm most impressed with.  Blue Moon puts out various horror packs as well.
Sailors have more fun!

I have several of the horror packs, colonial civilians, some gangsters and a few aliens and wild west packs. The sculpts are nice and the casting is very good with minimal flash and mold. Sculpts/castings of the aliens are particularly nice, so I'm expecting these new packs to benfit from the lessons learned. If you area member of the old glory army you are entitled to a 40% discount for all Blue Moon products.

I did however find the discount soes not extend to Blue Moon Belgium Style lager.

Yes, have to say the greens for both civilian packs look very nice indeed. Elegant, characterful, well proportioned, and lovely detail.

I think I've been put off Blue Moon so far by the frankly sh*tty paint jobs on the figures in their ads. But also, some of their earlier releases look a lot cruder than these new greens.

Have they changed sculptors does anyone know?

It can happen. The first half of the F&IW range from Redoubt (including, thankfully, most of the Indians) were really lovely figures. Then that sculptor disappeared, and the rest of the range turned into chunky munchkins in often anatomically impossible (and quite daft) poses.

Hmmm...

Really need to see some of these Blue Moonies in the flesh to decide if I want them. Some of the pictures of them look great. Some look totally naff.  :?
With luck, someone at Salute will have some for inspection...

Both packs have been released (wild west and pulp). I ordered both this weekend and am eagerly awating delivery. The wild west are 60% off to OG Army members during May and the pulp are the typical 40% off to OG army members. If you order 2 packs of wild west, the discount this month almost pays for the membership ($2 shy).

As far as quality, I've been pleased with the Blue Moon figures. If their alien range is any indication, the latest castings are very nice.

Bob Naismith and Chris Hughes have done all of the sculpting to date AFAIK.
