I’ve painted up my first group of miniatures for my club’s A Very Modest Swedish Conflict campaign that Dalauppror have been posting about on these boards.

This is the communist militia unit Röda nävar (Red fists) from Gothenburg.

The models are all from Musketeer Miniatures excellent Interwar range with some head swaps. The leader has the body from a Musketeer model and the head from a plastic Warhammer Empire flagellant.

More pictures and a short background for the force can be found on my blog: http://conflictofinterests.blogspot.se/2013/10/roda-navar.html

They look pretty cool, and there leader has that wild and revolutionary zeal about him.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Bravo, Jonas. This urges me to complete my Swedish 1939 army and have them deal with this 'pöbel'. :)

Very nice work, that man.
Moderate?
Nothing moderate about this bunch of well painted Communists!

Lovely conversion work for some very characterful results.
