Glad you liked it Rob.  The Chopwell Communists aren't done yet.  We'll be fighting a last desperate battle again next week.

It's the final gasp for the Reds and if they can't break through this time, their counter-advance will peter out restoring the front line to where it was before the Royalists invaded High Hold.

Should be fun!   :D

Nice AAR and game setup. I like the touch of adding a photo of the 'real' battlefield a the end of the AAR. I'm looking forward to more reports from this campaign.

Cheers Bullshot.  Most of our past games are up on the blog.  The next one will be next week.  then it'll be a while as we break for Xmas, and our new year games will probably be Seven Years War using Maurice, or perhaps we'll dip our toes into this Flames of War shenanigans.

The second day of the battle that wraps up our war in the north east for 1938.

With all the factions spent, the war in 1939 will be a scaled back affair as all concerned try to rearm and resupply.

I really enjoyed the report. A bloody affair all round, and not much to show for it! Great stuff.
