Really great stuff! Loved all of it but I was particularly impressed by your idea of the parachute drop, a really cunning plan.  :-*

BTW, looking at your blog, who makes the Black Smoke figure which you painted so well?

That's from Reaper's Chronoscope range. I think the character is The Black Mist or something. It's an excellent sculpt! And thanks for the compliment! :)

Glad to be of help! It is a lovely figure!

I think this worked nicely! The option was there for Dirk et al to wait a couple of turns and drop right at the gate, but the risk is that the Cunning check is failed and they are delayed. Also, by pushing his luck, the Daredevils could have been landing in the midst of the enemy in the castle, but Nick never took that opportunity and kept all his Finesse dice for the landing.

The parachute idea IS very cool, and superbly applied to the scenario.

I figure that, after a couple dramatic falls, most characters have learned that runing up/down snow covered stairs may be a DANGEROUS affair.

I realy enjoyed your AAR. Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Cool rule for the parachute drops. It is really in the flavor of the Pulp Alley mechanics. I don't know if anyone has noticed there's a strong risk/reward theme that pops up quite frequently in Pulp Alley games.

Another great AAR!  :-*

Sounds like great fun. We're these full-size, 10-slot leagues? Also, how long did the game run?

Excellent ideas...!

They were all ten slot leagues, but as it was 2 vs 3 I added 5 slots to the Nazis and allowed an extra sidekick (which was the Uberjaeger). The game lasted about 2.5 hours.

Very nice.  Great scenario.  Who makes the castle ruins model?

I wish I knew. One again, it's pretty much all just unearthed in the G3 terrain vaults.
