I have an ongoing issue with a scumbag "painting service" in Brampton Ontario....no communication, took the money via his Indigogo campaign, took the figures sent for painting and refuses to make good on the deal.

I am hoping someone here in Ontario would be able to print a "final notice" requiring the return of my figures and money and send it out by registered post.  
No getting involved or anything like that, just print and post a single page document and let me know the registration/tracking number.
I will email over the document and cover all costs.
I have already sent the notice by email but need a proof of delivery as a legal requirement.

Last communication I had from the scumbag was a threat to "do me" for extortion if I ever posted anything negative about his service.  Apparently both his parents are hot shot lawyers

He has a physical address in Ontario. Why not engage a Bailiff http://www.yellowpages.ca/search/si/1/Bailiffs/Brampton+ON
to serve papers to him? This will undoubtedly scare the shit out of him, and get things moving in a positive direction for you. Bailiff action is entertaining, terrifying, and, above all, fun!

Also, publicizing your intended actions would embarrass him - try his local newspaper, possibly even contact the media in Brampton. Big shot lawyer parents? "Blah, Blah, the son of local attorneys Blah and Blah Smith" would be a great way to get that out and possibly make his folks aware that their son is a moron. They don't want the attention, either!

I have to give him an opportunity to send back my figures and refund me. If he does not then I can start to take the necessary, very public action, including Bailiffs.

Has to be done in sequence, I got into this with a different painter a couple of years back which ended up with the local Police turning up at his place of work to "advise" him.

Thanks for the warning! I can't understand why I didn't see the feedback on their FB page... Apparently some of the pics that are shown aren't even painted by them... Good luck in getting your miniatures back!
