28mm Fantasy Casualties?
« on: February 19, 2014, 02:54:24 PM »
There's no shortage of dead medieval and renaissance Humans... and I know Battleforge makes some halfling casualties...

Does anyone know of any other 28mm fantasy casualties out there? Elves? Orcs? Dwarves? etc?

Fair assortment in the old OOP 80s citadel catalogue but I suppose you're looking for something in production and readily available. Prince August used to do prone figures too, in their 28mm rpg fig range - but it seems they've stopped production of them now (only one available on their site).

I have the dark elf off the base of Tyrion. Got the whole model second-hand off ebay, but the guy just crammed it in a small jiffy bag, so the entire horse and rider bent ninety degrees on one ankle. While the DE part is not a conveniently available casualty marker for most, that's the best use I can get out of the model now, after trying to bend said ankle back into position. ::)

On a more relevant note: Heresy do a goblin casualty. (More hobgoblinish for some settings)

Buy some plastic Elves, pose them laying down, then beat them with a hammer?

GWs orc wargrider from the Hobbit range had two dead orcs in the pack. And I think they actually have a complete casualty pack for the LotR range - needless to say they are not cheap... ;)
