AA and RAC Call Boxes

I've just made and uploaded to eBay new 28mm scale AA and RAC Call boxes (to go with the 15mm scale AA and RAC Call Boxes I made a while ago).

I was asked to see if I had items along with my Phone and Post boxes that would be suitable for a WWII scenario of an invasion of Britain - possibly featuring the new great Dads Army figs from Warlord Games. (I'm so going to buy a box set of them )

What you need now is a collection of uniformed mechanics to mend broken down armoured cars and to warn members about police speed traps........

One question: Does anyone know when they first came into use?

Edit: Dont worry, just found out...1912 for both, the AA verson coming out first.....
