28mm Walled Adobe Village
« on: April 16, 2014, 10:56:31 PM »

This was an "idle hands" project, 4 hours from start to finish.  Meant primarily for Afghanistan, I figure it could do for a well protected Mexican village.  I did try to copy and paste photos, but Flickr was not cooperating, so here is the link -

Great work. Suits Mexico perfectly in my eyes. 4 hours from start to finish :o ! That would take me at least a week (I get lazy in between stages). I'd definitely like to try something similar.

The base is an 18 x 18 inch floor tile.  The village is all foam core with cardboard roofs.  All finished with paint dyed spackle.  Interiors are not accessible.

Pretty cool...I've been trying to convince myself to take the plunge on the large CR adobe building to finish my own adobe town, but funds are short.  I like the result you got with yours.

Four hours!
 :o

If that only took four hours, start to finish, I am impressed.
