You will have trouble getting to know us if you dodn't introduce your self at these things, we don't bite
Well, that wasn't the problem so much as how to follow it up. But gimme a year and, possibly, a couple cups of coffee.

Vermis: I don't think I met you* but would have liked to say hello (you've given me great sculpting advice before).
*I am terrible with names and faces
I would've welcomed it, and I'm terrible with names meself.

Can't remember if I heard 'Silent Invader' being called out...?
Right then, Salute positives! In no real order...
That Dropzone starship near the entrance, with all the little dropships lined up in it. Excellent 'welcome' to the show.
Akky's not-Dune table, with it's light-show. Great to see it in person. I hear none of the Frothers tables won an award this year, which was a crime.
Jimbibbly's award-winning table and generally brilliant terrain, though... Really neat, expertly-made stuff. Gotta point some Bushido-playing guys at it. (Also for when I get off me bum and get something done for Ronin.)
Met some LAFers!

I'll know quite a few faces for next time. Certainly won't forget 6milPhil in a hurry.

The Keren table was great. Watched it for a short while but wish I'd stayed longer. Talked to one of the guys (can't remember who, sorry) for a short while, asking about the IABSM rules, so ta for that. (It convinced me to stick to Battlegroup, which I also picked up on the day for a show discount, but that's beside the point.

)
Looking at the Keren table, I saw someone standing beside me out of the corner of my eye. He looks familiar... Holy moley it's Michael Perry!
Speaking of Perrys, good to see the 3-ups on display there. The HYW stuff is making me reconsider my 15mm ASoIaF plans. Possibly.
Enjoyed looking at the Heresy displays to see the new resin cast of the dragon, the new terror maggot, and the WIP 3-up for the future plastic skellies. Very nice altogether. I'm gonna have to think of what I can use a bunch of skeletons for, when that kickstarter swings round.
And anything else once I sort it out from the blur in my head.
And then there's the trips round the Cartoon Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, the London Zoo, and especially the British Museum, but that might be pushing it topic- and interest-wise. Suffice to say I'm wondering what the market's like for ancient Assyrian miniatures.
