Excellent work lads  :-*

I think they actually come with the board game of the title name.

Hammers, very good arrangement. This is good inspiration for Cthulhu-Roleplayers. Hope to see more. Got my voice for it...

Thanks. Fun to paint, although the Mr Can O'Worm. The Lurker in the Clock was a joy, though, as was The Licker.

Beautiful work Hammers.  At first I couldn't find the man and the dog and was concerned he was the guy in the clock!

I think they actually come with the board game of the title name.

Yeah, the title is appropriately named  :D

I went with a paintjob that matches the cards in the game.  I think the color choices were a little strange, but whatever.  The additional five should be in an upcoming round.

Great work on both sets.

Who makes the Lurker in the Clock?

It's a Frothers sculpting contest miniature. I think it is completely OOP.

Bobbo's Adventurers are a hell of an achievement. I have that game and the figures that come with it are fantastic but really tiny and in a sort of soft plastic much like that awful restic stuff.

Bobbo, I salute you, your skill and bravery. Hammers did good too.

Thanks for the kind words.  If I'd have known the spanking I was going to receive this round I wouldn't have spent as much time on these as I did, but alas...   ;)

The figures are available on their own in an extremely ugly pre-painted variety for between $15 - $20 for 11 figures on e-bay and from some other retailers.  Mine were the original gray that comes with the game.  The plastic is bendy, but I just primed, washed, and painted normally and they came out fine.

I'm not sure what scale the figures are.  I think they are in the 25-28mm range.  They seem to be a bit more realistically proportioned than some other manufacturers, so painting the faces was trickier than normal 28mms.  I'll grab some individual shots after the week is over with some size comparisons.  I'm not sure what section they belong in though.  Pulp?  Modern?  The mummies, Rasputin, and the female assassin seem to be more pulp, but I think overall the figures are modern...

You're the one who bribed my kids to lose my figures, so I feel no pity.   :P

It's not a total loss though.  My wife and I actually play the game a fair bit and playing with painted figures is always better.  The game is mostly luck, so losing can be easily justified.  My wife and I learned that we shouldn't play competitive games together after our marriage almost ended over a particularly one-sided game of Canasta.

WOW! Hammers! This is really fantastic. I like the brown-and-grey colours of the set and the miniatures. And the clock is really a funny ;D

Those are fantastic Hammers.

Bobbo, I think that your photo doesn't do the figures justice.  It seems that there is a lot of depth in the shading and highlighting lost due to the lighting.
