On June 10th 2012, in the sleepy town of Strongbow Oregon things were quiet and calm, it was warm and peaceful on that sunny day when a local man by the name of Derek Fish walked into Lum's Polynesian restaurant. Derek looked a bit under the weather, having just come out of the bush after three weeks of logging. All seemed normal though until a young man and his new wife asked Derek for the Soy sauce. When Derek didn't answer the young man, Jeremy Buckingham by name, went to take the Soy sauce of Derek's table and unexpectedly Derek bit Jeremy. With a yep of pain a short fight broke out with Jeremy hitting Derek twice while Lum tried to break the two up. In the ensuing melee Derek managed to bite Lum's arm. The police and ambulance arrive and took the two to the hospital. Jeremy's wife got a lot of his blood on her trying to staunch the wound. Lum returned home after work was done. What followed is now in US intelligence service Top Secret files on "Zombies".

Strongbow's police station, the police were slow to respond to news presented to them by one of the INEPTT "Zombie Hunters", but then again who would believe a crack pot statement about zombies! sheesh.
Mercy General, this soon became a terrible battleground with an unrelenting foe. All the Staff (4 nurses and 2 doctors as well as 2 security agents fell to the zombie virus!

One of the Zombie Hunters (INEPTT) and his dog, enter the police station to warn them of the possible zombie out break. The Hunters had been following the news and were already moving when things at the hospital went suddenly quiet.
A large Zombie Hunting squad starts the search of Mercy General. All was quiet.
Until the door opened and then the moaning started and the zombies came shuffling towards the Hunters.
On the second floor of the hospital, more of the same, the elevator opened onto a room full of 5 zombies. The door to the elevator only just closed on time allowing the hunters to escape the ravenous group!
Weapons read, the Hunters open a door and commence firing!
In the mean while, zombies come staggering out of Lum's restaurant and home as well as the places adjacent to Lum's.
A search of the apartments revealed yet more zombies and they all started moving toward the sounds of gunfire centered around Mercy General.
The fight in the hospital becomes desperate as the Zombies start to over come individual hunters.
Moving outside on to the pavement and parking lot, the Hunters have more room to move and clearer fields of fire. They start to take a toll on the Zombies, but they lost their dog inside the Hospital itself.
More Hunters and the Strongbow police officers open fire on the Zombies coming from Lum's area, but they are just too many. Even though they take out a couple the majority move in for the feed.
The Hunters now start to take an upper hand in the fight at the hospital, only now they have more Zombies coming from the apartments which increases the stress level for the Hunters I can tell you!

What was once the television camera crew are now zombies and shuffling past the police station.
The little girl alerts the Hunters of the horde of zombies spilling out from the apartments, nearly twenty in all!
The living dead, horrid, putrid and ravenous! They fear nothing nor can they think, the simple instinct to feed is all that drives them!
The Police try to thin out the horde but one officer is eventually killed, the other runs off to hide, but survives!
All roads are blocked with the Zombies, things seem hopeless and ammo is almost gone - in some cases it is!

The fight in the hospital parking lot is nearly over. The Hunters kill the last couple Zombies and then run for it as they are out of ammo and have lost nearly half their members! It was one rough fight!
The little girl and the last cop run out the back of the grocery store and are saved.
A level two incursion is much more difficult than just a step up from a level one. Often they require the use of militias or national guards, and this was the case here. The local police and even tough well armed Zombie Hunters just were not enough. IN the end the troops had to flee.
Great game, the lads did well to survive and even took out 25 zombies in the bargain, but they also lost 5 of 12 of their own so it was a sad day for the Hunters. A lot of lessons learned to be sure for the teams
