How Big are Reaper Deadlands Noir minis?
« on: June 19, 2014, 03:04:42 PM »
Hi

Does anyone have any of these or know if there is a comp picture out there, with Artizan/Copplestone?

Thanks

They're about average height with the rest of the Reaper stuff, to maybe a little shorter.

I'll see if I can get a couple of pics later. They are taller than Artizan but then so is Copplestone, I'll try and do both once the kids are in bed.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Right, here you go. Levelled the bases as the Reaper figure is a slotta and I haven't cut it off yet:)
From the left: Artizan, Copplestone, Reaper Deadlands.

Wow, what's the middle one based with?

Same as the Artizan one, 2p currently on top of a Renedra 25mm round to bring it up to the same height as the slotta figure.

Sorry, I meant the basing material - I really like that fine texture and that's a nice colour too.

He's an Artizan Texas Ranger from this pack:

Thanks Mr D

They seem fine to me!

No problem, the Reaper guys vary a little in height, the rough and tough Texas Ranger for example is taller than the scientist I showed, while the female scientist is a little smaller. They mix fine when based correctly though.

I'll double check later on the colour but I think it was one of the old GW Foundation paints, it's brown :) It's a good base to build up foliage on. The material is just sand, I mix a few grades together to get a limited variation, always sift it so that you can control how much of what size is in there.

Thanks again on both counts, I would probebly god for the mad scientist et al any way and perhaps f=some of the 1920s ones too. But they are fairly pricey...
