SCW Militiawomen are here!
« on: July 14, 2014, 10:16:46 PM »

We are immensely proud to let you know our long expected 20GEF011 SCW Militiawomen set is ready and available at last. Unlike our previous regular infantries sets that were splitted into two complimentary boxes, this is a special one-box set comprising not just 13 riflewomen and 2 NCOs, but also a reduced format command group comprising a capitana leader, standard bearer, 2-girls LMG team and a flag sheet with the standards of 3 different female battalions.

19 total figures, 19 poses there:

As our common releasing letany uses to say, this new figures boxed set is already available through our website - and hopefully soon from our main stockists and retailers too!

Cheers,
Lluís

These look great, and a refreshing change from the usual representation of women in (generally sci-fi or fantasy)wargames...

One point though...the SMG (PPSH?) carried on the far right in the first picture, isn't it a bit oversized?
I told you so. You damned fools.

This time, the artist making our figures boxart hasn't resisted the temptation of taking advantage for self-portraiting her ...those artists!  ;)

Nope, it's a Suomi mod. 31 SMG.
It was 0.87 m long, that is, close to 3/5 the size of an average Spanish woman of that time - compare it to the Mausers and Lee Enfields riflewomen are carrying (1.11 and 1.13 m long respectively). I should remark that our female figures are significantly slimmer and fragile looking than our male ones, besides of slightly shorter (20mm to the eyebrows as average, while male ones use to be 21mm tall).

Take the picture below as reference. Their Mausers are 1.11 m long, so, how tall are they?

Cheers,
Lluís

:o You had better change that to 'petite'... small they are/were but very formidable when they are angry.  ;)

An impressive array of figures though.  :)
