Battle of Jutland - participation weekend

Thought this might interest some of you -

Running here at Chatham Dockyard over the first weekend in August, there's chance to take part in a 1:3000 recreation of the Battle of Jutland alongside assorted naval displays and muesum exhibits. You could pop in and buy summats from me while you're here ;)

More details here:  http://www.thedockyard.co.uk/

That looks really cool. It's a bit far from Canada though :)

What rules would you recommend for Great War Naval?

No idea :) - the guys running this are using Mongoose's Victory at Sea but unless I find time to sneak off for the afternoon and have a game myself I wouldn't know where to start in recommending them or otherwise....

Grant, I use the Fleet Action Imminent rules from Old Dominion Game Works. http://www.odgw.com/home.html
They play fast and are fun.
