Good idea Glenn, but to be honest that´s a frightening use of paint. Maybe it´s the photo, but they look drenched in paint...  :o

Nice use of the Reaper Supers as well, I'm tempted to get the ones I'm missing now.

Camera won't catch the colors (room lighting?) right now but in the morning I will post "in progress" pictures.

The paint was wet on some of the miniatures in the first pictures, some of the paint was intentionally glossy, and the basing materials included Renaissance Ink's flocking gels (fine, medium and coarse,) freshly applied.

One should not expect museum quality works of art from me:

1) Because I have hardly improved my painting skills despite decades of effort (you have to have some talent to improve whether it is sports or art and I don't have that)

2) There are, IMO, 3D counters for all practical purposes

3) I try and paint to get figures on the table using the three foot rule not the Macro lens on the camera rule.

Gracias,

Glenn

Great start Glenn!

So all that 'don't play larger than 18mm anymore' stuff is all bluster, eh?   8)  lol

Show more work as you get it done!

Oh no, these are bought before I decided I needed to change sizes/storage demands.  I am trying to get rid of some stuff and it was either strip to bare metal or experiment/practice painting.  I chose the latter.  I have 15 mm supers, unlike 15 mm monks for IHMN, but these have been on Ebay thrice in primer but I am not willing to trash can them yet.

The colors still aren't perfect/completely accurate on the pictures this morning in natural lighting (I wonder if my photographer daughter ("The Communist" is her nickname for not understanding my private property) forgot to reset something after  surreptitiously using my camera.) I will post them this afternoon/evening after uploading to photobucket or flickr (where space is best.)

Gracias,

Glenn

Since I don't paint eyes all I have plans for at this point are finding touch up points and making the bases a bit more thematic (especially Air.)

Gracias

Nice figures. I was tempted when you had them up for sale but I am in a non buying period right now so had to let them pass.

I do like what you have done with them. They'd be great as character pieces in a superhero board game.
