Rogan's Bar & Bunkhouse
« on: January 24, 2014, 06:13:17 PM »
I thought I had enough buildings for the moment but Rogan's Bar the latest release from 4Ground looks great, plenty of roof space for minis and a corner plot as well
I will pick it up later as I have too many buildings on the go at present.
I would post a picture but  I am new to the site and not sure how to post pictures yet.

Yep, this is 4Ground's latest (shown here with the Undertaker and the soon-to-be-released Stagecoach)

Looks okay, but I'm a little miffed on the lack of interior walls (something all of their other buildings have).  Looks good though, and I dig corner buildings.  Will probably pick up everything pictured in this photo at some point.

I'm undecided on whether I will get those buildings or not. They are close to my designs for a couple of "Hero" buildings so I may well pass, although they could serve as placeholders! They stage coach looks great, I have the Sarissa stagecoach on the way it will be interesting to compare them.

I'd guess that the 4Ground coach will be a little more in-depth, a little harder to assemble, but other than pre-painted I don't imagine they'll be that different.  Who knows.  I'll likely get the 4Ground one simply because I'll be ordering some other stuff from them.  I asked on their FB page if they're launching more buildings.  I'd rather wait and order a large set.  I'm a handful of buildings away from being done with my town.

I have made the decision to finally build a wild west town. For years I have used the paper buildings from the Fiddlers Green remaking them every so often. When I saw the 4ground stuff I was awestruck and placed an order. :-* :-* I then wrote them and asked about a bar and or bank building as well as a stage coach. Was I excited when they said it was in the pipe line. :o So I ordered the bar today and will order the stage as soon as its put up. Watch for posts on my builds come Febuary.

They responded on FB that there is no major release intended before Mid-April at Salute 2014...but that there would be a slow trickle of 4Ground kits.

I'm still waiting on the same list:

1) Train station
2) Barn/Livery/Stable
3) One or two larger buildigns (like the Undertaker)
4) I could do with a proper Bank as well.

That's all I'm really waiting on, so I'd imagine they'll be available.

Actually very tempted to buy this and pay for shipping to the US...I've been wanting a 2 story version of the bar since it came out!
