Kickstarter: Scenery in a box

The cemetery set is what caught my eye, inexpensive for $50 for a great amount of scenery and they seem to have a good head on their shoulders to deploy on time. May be worth checking!

It's not bad looking stuff, and I hate to be disparaging of anyone running a Kickstarter (given I'm painfully aware of how much work it is!), but they're going to have to find a better solution than $50 to ship a $50 item if they want any backers outside the US...

I like the "modern art" and "gazebo".

But that postage is a definite killer.

Scott, would you be willing to give some EU and international shipping advice to them? I would be happy to forward on to them. I'd like to see it a success and I think they can do better in shipping as well. PM me and I will be happy to relay it.

There's really no better source of info I've found than this article, which was what convinced me we could pull it off with Strange Aeons: http://stonemaiergames.com/how-to-provide-free-shipping-worldwide-on-kickstarter-a-comprehensive-guide/

It only discusses using Amazon for fulfillment, but services like Shipwire are a good alternative as well.

Wow, hadn't heard of them, and that looks like a mighty attractive option.  Thanks for mentioning it - could make my life a whole lot easier.
