Campaign Game Miniatures Napoleonics
« on: 18 August 2014, 10:33:57 AM »
Does anybody have any experiences with Campaign Game Miniatures napoleonics? I've been thinking about buying more Prussians in place of the ugly Warrior minis versions I have and these guys popped up. I've never heard of the company before but the minis look quite nice from their pics. Looking far less gnomish than Essex, but far more competitively priced compared to the likes of AB and other "high-end" makes.

I've been trying to find comparison pics of different makes with the CGM ones, but no luck until now. Does anybody now how they fare size and quality wise to their competition?

Never heard of Campaign Game Miniatures before but I have to say: these are nice looking figures.
I'm just testing the waters with 15mm Napoleonics and these guys look like a going concern, so I bookmarked their page for later purchases.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Nysse,

I have used CGM in my collection. Just follow the link to see posts covering their use and unit comparisons with AB, Xan, Warmodelling.

Thanks! Very helpful indeed. I actually stumbled into some images from your blog through googling too :)

Seems like CGM will be the way to go. Rather good level of detail coupled with very competitive pricing seems to do the trick for me :) Too bad they don't seem to do Prussian Hussars. I'll have to source them from somewhere else.

For comparison picture try CGM website.

I haven't bought any of their Napoleonic figures but I have had excellent service in the past buying figures from other manufactures.

Thanks for that link! Seems that their new website doesn't have such comparison pictures (or then I'm just blind).

I guess I'll have to place an order then for a few battalions to see what their range looks like.
