Heads up - more plastic prepaints
« on: 11 May 2015, 08:47:29 PM »
Just a quick one - the next set of Pathfinder prepainted minis contains a Mi-Go, Yithian and Elder Thing, plus a shoggoth and what looks like a Moon Beast.

Thanks! The common monsters look like good choices for their slots, since you'd want multiples of them.

fwiw, The Bubbling Cauldron can be used in the Descent coop expansion, Forgotten Souls. The Goblin Archer has the same look at the Pathfinder Goblins in the first Reaper Bones KS. (See you at the next Reaper Bones KS in June or July!)

Some of those look quite interesting/useful.

I'm a bit concerned about the rare/common/uncommon notations though. I'm unfamiliar with Pathfinder's stuff, and that notation makes it look like these are random pack items rather than stuff you can actually buy like normal figures. Is that the case?
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

That is the case.  Of course, you can always just go to either Ebay or one of the online retailers and buy exactly what you want, no chasing required.  You might pay more than if you get lucky and pull one, but I'm not much for collectible anything these days.

Indeed, collectible is a pain - it seems to be a great idea for the producer and retailer at the expense of the customer.

As hjorhrafn says, eBay is your friend here, or the likes of Troll and Toad. I've never bought as much as a single box blind.

If they could look just half as good as the Digital Renders, they'd have my cash!
