For All Your Thugee Needs...
« on: 14 October 2014, 11:03:07 AM »
... Harwood Hobbies recently launched a kickstarter aimed at getting a number of Kali cultists and thugs into production, with an Avatar of Kali (Greater Demon if I ever saw one) as a possible stretchgoal:

These models alone could easily consitute a Thugee company. I know I'll use them for that purpose.

For those doing Pulp, Bob Murch has a great collection:

Or you could use the Crooked Dice Thuggees, £9 for 3.

Nice link, many thanks.

I've had the Pulp figures Thugs on my wish list for a while now. I even ordered a figure from Reaper to start my gang (it seems to be awol after a house move). I was planning to paint it gold and treat it as an animated statue come demon ...

Here's how my statue turned out.

09 Heathen Idol

Professor Gilbert hacked away the last vine and there stood the Heathen Idol described in Marco Polo's journal.
But if it is just a statue, why is it moving?

Enjoying the examples, but, sorry, still grinning about the thread title.

I LOVE this place!

I have these figs, and they are very nice. The problem is that they are much larger than nearly all of my other "pulp" figures. They are larger than my other figs from Crooked Dice, as well. They just do not scale well, enough so that I wouldn't use them together with my other pulp figures.
