Knight Miniatures SWAT Van
« on: 30 January 2015, 11:26:13 PM »
Have just bought the Knight models Gotham City SWAT Van and was wondering on the painting for it:-

Does it need sealing before painting and will it be ok with acrylics?

Thanks

I don't have one, but seeing how it's made from MDF board, I'd say you'd definitely want to prime it first   Acrylic paints should be fine.  Hope that helps!

I'll second that. I don't have that particular model, but the laser cut stuff I do have (western buildings and DreadBall boards) all soaked up an inordinate amount of paint. Take your time and be sure to give it several very thin coats of primer before you start painting with your acrylics over it.
